Most residents are with us for extended lengths of time: From those who come alone, and those with an entourage of followers, peers, or collaborators, to the local artists who use our facilities for workshops, events, and solace. The visiting artist who hold classes, take classes, and takes refuge; and the artist in residency who brings talent, energy, and enthusiasm to a dream.

This wonderful collection of individuals creates an environment that is supportive, conducive, and enlightening, to the creative process.

Besides sumptuous grounds in a serene environment, the Huelo Point Flower Farm has created a number of programs to assist those who choose to be a part of making history.

Artists are invited to use the Artists’ Retreat to help with their careers. They can showcase their art work with a reception and media coverage; they can hold classes and workshops, either bringing students or attracting them; they can stage readings; and hold events. How can we be of help?

These services will continue to expand as our Artists’ Retreat matures.

The Artists’ Retreat is also a private collector, always seeking to expand their collection.
The Huelo Flower Farms – Artists’ Retreat is a beautifully blended compound of private and semi-private residences, separated by expansive resident-only grounds, and thoughtfully blended with a productive organic farm.

This mini-community provides immeasurable opportunities for the individual to explore, contemplate, relax, rejuvenate, or marvel at the splendor of nature that is unfolding before you.

Dedicated to the pursuit of art in a peaceful setting of incredible beauty, the Huelo Point Flower Farm – Artists’ Retreat is available based exclusively on extended residences.

In keeping with the vision, residents are required to make reservations for a minimum of a month. After twenty years of providing accommodations to the artistic community, it has been learned that it takes at least a month to fully appreciate and understand the experience that has been laid out for you.
